Can you help? With the spring months upon us, we are in desperate need for puppy & kitten food! We have babies coming to us all year but we get a huge influx during the spring and summer months. Please consider donating a bag of kitten or puppy food to help us get these babies started out on the right foot. All donations can be dropped off at our North Shore or Fallen Timber locations during our normal business hours. Please take a moment to share this picture and help our babies!
Rottweiler: An adoptable dog in Saratoga Springs, NY
Nakia joins us from Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. She was part of the Fulton County raid. She requires and experienced Rottie home with no small children. She is currently being fostered with a male dog and a cat as well as a school aged child. She spent 6 months of her life at the shelter waiting for the court case to clear her for rescue and has just joined RER. She takes a bit to warm up to but once you are her friend there are no boundaries. She is approx 2-3 years old and has had a hard life including being shot. We are very proud of her progress as well as being able to help her find her forever home. If you are interested in this sweet girl please fill out an application @ rottieempirerescue.com.

My name is TRAIL. My Animal ID # is A0961206.
I am a female brown chow chow mix. The shelter thinks I am about 7 YEARS old.
Poor, beautiful Trail was hit by a car & she sustained a severe injury to her back legs. Right now she’s unable to walk. She’s being treated for pain but this girl needs to see a vet. At less than 7-years-old, she has so many sunrises yet to see. Trail is a mix of Chow Chow & probably Akita. Her cruel injuries have made her very suspicious of humans and she does not cooperate when she’s approached for examination. This lovely lioness with the deep set eyes needs a human in her corner tonight. Without a human advocate, Trail will die tomorrow, alone and in pain. Please share Trail tonight & search for someone who will seek medical treatment to care for her.

Rufff Ruff, my name is Pachie. My Animal ID # is A0954972.
I am a male white and tan pit bull mix. The shelter thinks I am about 1 year old.
I’m just a young boy who is looking for a forever home!
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 01/09/2013 from NY 11208, owner surrender reason stated was abandon.
This beautiful girl is Marsha, and she’s made a lot of friends at our center. She’s sweet, gentle, well behaved and extremely laid back. She’s so laid back that she would prefer to take a nap curled up next to you than play with a toy. But don’t let her laid-back nature fool you. Once you take her outside, all she wants to do is play. She enjoys long walks with friends, big fluffy dog beds and being showered with love and affection. Make her a member of your family, and she’ll remain a devoted companion forever.
