I surprised the RSPCA in Burton-on-Trent with a portrait of their favourite dog Dino the Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has been at the shelter for 18 long months.
The week after I gave them the portrait Dino finally got a new home!! <3

RSPCA Doggie Diaries; Week 46 - Sandy, Trixie & Puppies.
Sandy and Trixie… then the puppies! Double trouble as usual! All little loveable monsters!
Sandy and Trixie have been homeless for far too long now. They are both amazing and even though they’re related they’re like chalk and cheese. They’re both very intelligent and love learning tricks but have very different personalities. Sandy is very sweet and loves other dog A LOT and just wants to run around and play with them. Trixie is a little nosey nelly and always wants to be involved in everything you’re doing, she loves to do tricks for you for a treat but is a little hit and miss with other dogs, she likes them but plays a little too rough sometimes and if the other dog isn’t tolerant of rough play then it causes some trouble!
The puppies of course are growing fast and starting to become very different personalities too, one is much bouncier then the other and always wants your attention, she’s very sweet because she always wants a cuddle. The other is a little more independent and has already learnt how to sit on command… just about. They both love to play with other dogs and want to investigate everything, they both need lots of love and training but would be well worth it!

RSPCA Doggie Diaries; Week 30 - Max
This week we walked a gorgeous little Staffy puppy called Max.
He’s just the cutest little boy, he has so much love to give and has lots of character. He was originally part of a litter at the RSPCA but unfortunately has been returned through no fault of his own. His previous owners have obviously been very loving and responsible as he is very obedient even at this early age, he knows some tricks, he’s very good on the lead and he absolutely loves other dogs. He made lots of new doggy friends this week on his walks and has been investigating some ducks and piglets.
As you can see he loves the outdoors and had lots of fun jumping through the long grass. He’s a very special little boy and we hope he gets a home very soon as he will be a wonderful, loyal companion.
Kiera is available for adoption, and located in Los Angeles, California, America.
Kiera is a 6 year old female black and tan Rottweiler who was found on March 7th and brought to the North Central LA City shelter. Weighing 70 pounds, Kiera is gorgeous! She does have a tail which is used to constantly wag and show how happy she is.
Kiera loves to give kisses all over your face and she instantly became a volunteer favorite by kissing everybody and non-stop wagging. Kiera is extremely sweet and she seemed great around all people. Kiera was also around a lot of other dogs at our photoshoot and she seemed to get along great with all of them.
Kiera loves to be pet and she walks well on a leash and takes treats gently from your hand.
Kiera would be a perfect addition to any family home.
All North Central animals come spayed/neutered, microchipped and with full shots (including rabies). To view more details on Kiara, including adoption information, visit her complete profile here.
I think you are the best ever….
RSPCA Doggie Diaries; Week 29 - Trixie
This week we walked little Trixie again. She has really come out of her shell since we last walked her! Stephy has really fallen in love with her and wishes she could take her home. She really is a fantastic dog with such a sweet nature, she loves kisses and cuddles and she’s lots of fun.
She’s very inquisitive and likes to put her front legs up on the bridge we walk over to watch the cars zip past down below. She walks like a dream on the lead and seems to be very gentle with other dogs she meets.
We hope she gets a lovely home very soon as she really is special.
Lil man at Bergen County Animal Shelter. Has been there for 16 MONTHS!!!
If anyone is interested please go and see him. It is not suitable for a dog to be living in that environment for that long.http://blog.northjersey.com/jerseydog/4581/lonely-hearts-club-meet-little-man/

walk? Walk? WALK?
RSPCA Doggie Diaries; Week 28 - Patch
This week we walked Patch, a super intelligent dog. You have to keep your eye on him or he will outwit you, he definitely keeps you on your toes.
He’s great fun and loves to play with anything, he can get bored easily so will need a home where he is going to be stimulated. He’s very friendly and nothing phases him but he doesn’t really like it when you leave. He has lived with children and gets on with other dogs, he knows some obedience but it is hard to get him out of play mode once he’s started!
He will make a great family dog and will be loads of fun and mischief!
RSPCA Doggie Diaries; Week 27 - Chip & Ash
This week we walked Chip the Staffy and Ash the Corgi mix.
Chip is a really lovely boy, he is very lively and loves to play but can also be very calm and relaxed on a walk. He gets on with other dogs and he knows some commands, he’s very well behaved and would be a great companion.
Ash is a very old boy, he is blind and had to have his eyes removed due to Glaucoma. Despite this he likes to potter about and ends up walking around in circles sniffing everything. He’s very sweet and deserves a nice home where he can spend his last years pottering about the garden and relaxing.
